Biography

Galloway Belters is a small, artisan furniture design business. We are based in Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland. We have taken our name from the traditional Scottish cattle breed found here called Belted Galloways. The definitition of the word "belter" is "something that is admirable, outstanding or thrilling" hence our name. Our tables are real wee belters made in Galloway! Our designs are inspired by midcentury modern Danish classic furniture. Created using sustainable quality hardwoods, our pieces are quirky and elegant. Colours and dimensions can be altered for personalisation and commissions are welcome.
