Biography

I make practical pieces of lasting quality, using a range of traditional hand tools and modern equipment. The hardwoods of Scotland and the Borders form the raw material. My furniture incorporates clean lines and a quiet solidity, with the occasional nod towards Arts and Crafts. Practical and beautiful; that's what I'm after. Visitors are welcome at the workshop by arrangement.
